Hey Product Hunt! I'm the founder of Littlebird.ai, and today is a day I've been working toward for a long time. Littlebird is a real-time analytics and business intelligence platform built for founders and lean teams — it watches your growth signals, ingestion events, and conversion funnel so you always know exactly what's happening before you have to go looking. What makes us different is that we surface context proactively: DAU, retention cohorts, competitive signals, and metric alerts — all in one founder command center. We'd love your honest feedback, and if you give it a try, please drop your thoughts below. Let's make this thing better together.

Question — "What does it actually do?"
Plain-English explanation

Great question! Littlebird connects to your product's event stream and surfaces real-time analytics — DAU, cohort retention, funnel conversions, and metric alerts — through a single founder dashboard. Think of it as a command center that watches your product for you and proactively tells you what changed, so you don't have to dig through spreadsheets or wait for your weekly review to find out your day-3 retention dropped.

General — congratulations / upvote
Grateful reply

Thank you so much — this genuinely means a lot to the team! We've been building in the open for months and launching on Product Hunt today feels like a real milestone for us. If you get a chance to poke around, we'd love to hear what resonates and what feels off. Honest feedback from builders like you is exactly what makes us better.

Question — "How is this different from Notion AI / Mem0?"
Differentiator explanation

Totally fair to compare us — both are great tools. The core difference is that Littlebird is focused on product analytics and founder intelligence, not knowledge management. Notion AI helps you write and organize; Mem0 gives your AI apps persistent memory. Littlebird watches your live product metrics — signups, retention, funnel drop-off, conversion attribution — and alerts you when something matters, before you've thought to check. It's the difference between a searchable notebook and a co-pilot that taps you on the shoulder.

Question — "What's the pricing?"
Pricing overview

We're at $49/month for the Pro plan, which includes all 13 dashboards (growth pulse, cohort retention, funnel analysis, competitive intel, and more), the analytics SDK for your product, metric alerts with email notifications, and the full API for event ingestion. We're offering a special Product Hunt deal today — check the link in the listing for the current launch discount. No per-seat pricing, no hidden usage caps.

Question — "Is there a free trial?"
Trial / onboarding reply

Yes! You can explore the dashboard and get a feel for the platform before committing — just sign up and we'll walk you through connecting your first event source. If you'd like a guided walkthrough tailored to your stack, just DM me here or email me directly and I'll personally make time for a call. We'd rather show you the value upfront than have you guess whether it fits.

Question — "Does it work for small teams / solo founders?"
Solo / small team reassurance

Absolutely — we built this for exactly that. The SDK is a one-line drop-in script (seriously, under a minute to instrument), and all the dashboards are designed to answer the questions a solo founder asks before their Monday standup: "How many people signed up this week? Are they coming back? Where's the funnel leaking?" You don't need a data team or a warehouse. Just drop in the SDK, point it at your events, and Littlebird handles the rest.

Engagement — feature request / "Can it do X?"
Roadmap / feature reply

Love this suggestion — thank you for taking the time to share it! That's actually something we've had on our radar, and hearing it from a real user moves it up the list. I'm going to add this to our roadmap and tag it as community-requested. If you want to be notified when it ships, drop your email in the listing or follow us here — we share updates as features land. The community shapes what we build next, so keep them coming.

Objection — competitor mention / "I use [X], why switch?"
Competitor pivot (no trash-talk)

That's a solid tool — no argument there. The honest answer is that Littlebird isn't trying to replace it. Most teams we talk to are already using something for [X], and they're happy with it. What they're missing is a live product analytics layer: real-time DAU, cohort retention, funnel attribution, and metric alerts that ping them when something changes. Littlebird fills that gap without asking you to rip out anything you already rely on. They can absolutely coexist.

Closing — end-of-day wrap-up
End-of-launch thank-you

What a day. Thank you to every single person who upvoted, commented, asked a question, or just took two minutes to check out what we've been building. We crossed a milestone today that the whole team will remember, and it happened because this community showed up. If you haven't had a chance to try Littlebird yet, the link is still live — and if you did try it and have feedback, my DMs are open. We're just getting started. See you on the other side.

Show HN: LittlebirdOS – Real-time founder command center

Hacker News · Show HN
Post body

Hi HN, I'm the founder of LittlebirdOS. Solo founders and small product teams have the same Monday-morning question ("what changed overnight?") and the same frustrating answer — open three tabs, write a SQL query, wait for the dashboard to reload, then dig through retention cohorts by hand. LittlebirdOS is a real-time founder command center that answers that question for you. You drop a one-line analytics SDK into your product, push events, and get 13 dashboards: growth pulse (DAU/WAU/MAU), cohort retention, funnel attribution, competitive intel, metric alerts, weekly digest, and more. Pricing is $49/mo flat — no per-seat, no warehouse, no usage caps. I'd especially love feedback on the SDK surface (we tried to keep it under a minute to instrument), the dashboard defaults (do we answer the questions you actually ask?), and the alert thresholds (too noisy? too quiet?). I read everything that comes in by email and reply personally. Try it: https://littlebird.ai

Appreciate the read — thank you. We tried to design for the smallest reasonable team (solo founder, no data person) and lower the setup cost as far as we could without losing rigor. If you have a moment, the critique I'd find most valuable is where you think we'd be better off shipping a thinner product with more transparency into the underlying events versus a wider product with more opinions baked in. My email is in the listing, and I reply personally to anything that lands.

Day -4 · Narrative thread
The "why this exists" thread

I've been pretending I don't have a problem for two years. Every Monday I'd open Mixpanel + Stripe + a Slack thread and try to figure out: did anything matter today? It took 30 min. Then I'd forget until the next Monday. I built Littlebird for me. It watches the product for you: real-time DAU, retention, funnel. One line of SDK, $49/mo. Launching in 4 days on PH. 🧵 1/6 --- Last year I shipped a feature we were sure would land. Retention tanked on day 3. I didn't notice for 11 days. A real-time view would have caught it on day 2. That's the wedge: we surface what changed *before* you go looking. 2/6 --- The thing that broke me: building a "real-time" view in spreadsheets still takes a half-day of SQL. So we built the SDK first. One script tag, under a minute to instrument. Then the dashboards just work. 3/6 --- 13 dashboards at launch: growth pulse, cohort retention, funnel attribution, competitive intel, metric alerts, weekly digest. All from the same event stream. No warehouse. No data team. 4/6 --- Pricing: $49/mo flat. No per-seat, no usage caps. We'd rather show you the value upfront than nickel-and-dime you on seat counts. 5/6 --- Launching June 30 on Product Hunt. If you're a solo founder or lean team who's tired of the Monday morning ritual — try it. Waitlist: https://littlebird.ai/#waitlist 6/6
